John P. Barton

After receiving a degree in Economics and Finance John P. Barton became a successful New York trained investment banker, venture capitalist, futurist, and long-time Colorado-based environmental activist.

 For over three decades, John, or simply, JP, has advised early-stage socially responsible high-growth potential companies on their capital formation and growth strategy.

JP founded and developed two award-winning golf communities in California, Marbella Golf & Club and Spanish Hills Club, and has long been a leading proponent of solar and clean renewable energy and an aggressive transition from fossil fuels to zero-carbon, fully electric homes, and vehicles.

JP additionally founded GeoSolar Technologies before SmartGreen Technology™.

Having lived in Denver, Colorado for over 50 years, he and his wife have raised five children, and now have 10 grandchildren, all of whom support social and environmental responsibility.
